The residence of the ladies of Sigma Delta Tau, University of Michigan, is a historic turn-of-the-century structure on the National Register.  Rowland Design was asked to update the interior first floor public spaces to address the present membership.  The entry, music room, library, TV room and dining room were enhanced to address their needs.  Special attention was given to accentuate the original architectural elements still remaining.  Furnishings, finishes and fabrics support the design and meet the critical need for durability.  Further specialty features included branding of the Sigma Delta Tau letters on the outside back of all dining chairs, an area rug and other noteworthy locations.

Move-in for the fall semester was an exciting time, as the girls, family, and friends were able to view “before” photos of each area prior to entering their newly renovated environment.
