United Way of Central Indiana

With their move to a new location closer to downtown Indianapolis, the United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) not only adopted a new address, but a new corporate culture. United Way embraced a fresh approach to its vital work desiring a more flexible, up-to-date, and vibrant environment; not just to create more efficient work space, but also to fully embody the energy and vision of the New U mission.

Visitors enter the UWCI space by way of custom graphic wood elements that announce UWCI’s location and act as an extension of the UWCI branding within. Once in the office, neutral hues are punctuated with bursts of color on accent walls to create a lively and vibrant environment.

Bringing natural daylight into the space was an important design consideration. An open concept plan was developed with workspaces lining the perimeter of the suite to keep windows free from obstruction.

Surrounding the reception and waiting area are a range of flexible meeting rooms, conference rooms, and smaller enclaves.
