Concerned that a simple paint job might not be the best solution to improving the appearance of their very industrial looking chapter house, Rowland Design was consulted to help find a more permanent and higher performing solution. The modest project budget and need to phase the project over at least two summers led us to a recladding approach utilizing color-impregnated cement board panels with aluminum trim. The solution gives the house a new and brighter appearance while also improving thermal performance and reducing required maintenance. The project also included new signage and a comprehensive phaseable landscape plan.
