Indianapolis, Indiana
Since 1972, IRT has occupied the grand Indiana Theatre built in 1927. After leading a master planning process to help establish project priorities and to prepare for a subsequent capital campaign, Rowland renovated all major spaces in the theatre including the Grand Lobby, Main Stage, Upper Stage and Cabaret Theatre. Putting past costumes on display in the upper lobby, re-coloring and accent lighting historic ornamentation, and refurnishing the main auditorium spaces brought new luster to this significant destination in Indianapolis' cultural community. |
